Welcome to www.eigsemrscrotty.com and we invite you to view our Programme for Éigse Mrs. Crotty 2008 which will be a treat for all with a wide variety of events both entertaining and educational. In the spirit of hospitality for which Mrs. Crotty was famed, Kilrush extends a warm welcome to players and enthusiasts alike to honour the memory of a remarkable West Clare musician and a unique woman.

• Open Air Céilí at The Square with Gerry McCarthy and The Curra - evening
• Traditional Pub Sessions.
• Eigse Session Trail from 10pm at O'Brien's Bar, Henry Street with Tom Carey and friends.

Thursday, 14th August:

• Eigse Mrs. Crotty Summer School:
• Concertina Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
• Fiddle Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
• Flute Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
• Traditional Singing and Sean Nós Singing with Tim Dennehy.
• Student Sessions at O'Brien's Bar and Buggle's Bar.
• Concertina Repair Workshop with Juergen Suttner.
• Open Air Céilí with Five Counties Céilí Band at Market Square - evening.
• Official Opening of the festival at Teach Cheoil.
• Concertina Club with Edel Fox at Teach Cheoil.
• Eigse Session Trail: from 10 p.m. at O'Brien's Pub and at Buggle's Bar.

Friday, 15th August:

• Open Air traditional music with Inis Cathaigh Cill Rois Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann in the The Vandeleur Walled Garden - afternoon
• Open Air Céilí in Market Square with The Tulla Céilí Band.
